Guided SOC 2 kickoff
Trust Services Category scoping, Type I vs. Type II selection with observation-period tracking, and a structured system-description builder.
SOC 2 compliance, done right
Syncpoint runs your whole compliance program: scope and kickoff, risk assessment, policies, continuous evidence collection, and an auditor-ready readiness report — all in one place, built for engineering-led teams doing their first SOC 2 audit.
The problem
Traditional SOC 2 preparation takes 3–6 months of Slack messages, screenshot hunting, and spreadsheets that go stale. Syncpoint gives the work a system of record.
The complete program
Trust Services Category scoping, Type I vs. Type II selection with observation-period tracking, and a structured system-description builder.
Score likelihood × impact, assign owners, link risks to mitigating controls, and track remediation.
Deterministic collectors for GitHub, AWS, and Jira pull real evidence on a schedule; no AI guessing at facts an API can provide.
AI proposes control mappings with cited reasoning; a human reviewer makes the final call, and both steps are logged.
Upload, version, and track staff acknowledgment of required policies mapped to the controls they support.
Coverage, open gaps, the risk register, and logged control exceptions in one artifact for a CPA firm.
Built on honesty
Every AI suggestion is labeled AI_SUGGESTED until a human confirms it. Nothing in your audit trail pretends a human didn’t make the final call.Bring the questions your team is asking about scope, evidence, and the path to your first report.
Product
Syncpoint connects the decisions, evidence, people, and review trail behind a SOC 2 readiness program.
01 / Scope first
Choose your Trust Services Categories, decide between Type I and Type II, and make the observation period visible from kickoff. Syncpoint keeps the scope decision connected to the controls and evidence that follow.
02 / Evidence with provenance
Connect GitHub, AWS, and Jira to pull deterministic evidence on a schedule. Each artifact carries its source and timestamp, so a reviewer can follow the trail without hunting through old threads.
03 / Human confirmation
AI can propose a mapping and show its reasoning. A human reviewer confirms or rejects it. Both steps are recorded, giving your team a faster starting point without blurring who made the decision.
04 / Export with context
See coverage, open gaps, the risk register, and logged control exceptions in one artifact. The output reflects the work your team did—without claiming the work is finished when it is not.
We will show you how Syncpoint maps to your systems and your audit timeline.
Security
Syncpoint is designed to make the security and accountability around your compliance work visible.
Tenant-scoped queries are filtered by organization ID.
Envelope encryption protects stored AWS, GitHub, and Jira credentials.
Owner, Admin, Reviewer, and Viewer roles support deliberate access.
Actions, AI suggestions, and human confirmations are recorded.
We publish the product facts we can stand behind. Syncpoint does not claim a SOC 2 report, ISO 27001 certification, or any compliance badge. Your organization’s controls, evidence, and auditor remain essential to the result.
Syncpoint is multi-tenant SaaS by default. For customers who do not want cloud credentials to leave their network, a single-container self-hosted appliance option exists. Talk to us about which model fits your architecture.
Bring your security review questions to a demo. We will answer from the available product facts rather than fill gaps with promises.
Talk to the team →About Syncpoint
Syncpoint exists for engineering-led teams who want a clear, honest system for getting their first SOC 2 program moving.
A placeholder founding story
We watched engineering teams burn a quarter on SOC 2 evidence-wrangling and built the tool we wished existed.
That means treating scope as a decision, evidence as a traceable input, review as a human responsibility, and the final report as an output of the work—not the place where the work starts.
We are keeping this story intentionally simple until there is a real founder story to tell.
Meet Syncpoint in a demo →Request a demo
Tell us where your SOC 2 program stands, what systems matter, and what you need to see before moving forward.
We will talk through scope, evidence, human review, and the deployment model that makes sense for your team.
